Elevated Outdoor Living Vision

This Hattiesburg, MS outdoor living design brings together a new Additional Dwelling Unit (ADU), pool, spa, and surrounding hardscapes in a cohesive backyard concept. The layout creates a resort-like setting with generous poolside space, lounge areas, a covered outdoor living zone, and nighttime lighting that highlights the water, walls, and architecture.

The design responds to significant elevation changes across the property, using retaining walls to help organize the site and create usable outdoor spaces. Accurate topography captured through drone photogrammetry supports a more informed plan, allowing the terrain, wall placement, pool elevation, and hardscape transitions to be carefully considered.

With the ADU overlooking the pool and spa, the concept is designed for relaxation, entertaining, and everyday outdoor living. The result is a layered backyard vision that balances structure, comfort, and visual impact.
