“Outdoor design, for me, is more than creating beautiful spaces—it’s a calling rooted in my faith. Every project is an opportunity to serve others, to bring clarity where there’s confusion, and to help families experience connection, peace, and joy in a space designed with purpose.”

In 1997, Jeremy became one of the Marine Corps’ first UAV pilots, operating the Pioneer drone. After his enlistment, he moved on from drones — unaware of the role they would later play in his professional life.
Years later, Jeremy built a successful career in the swimming pool construction industry, becoming a top-performing sales professional. But working directly with homeowners exposed him to a problem that would ultimately shape the future of his career.
He saw firsthand how difficult the pool-buying process could be.
Homeowners were often asked to compare proposals from multiple builders that included different designs, different scopes, different equipment, different materials, and different levels of detail. Instead of making an informed comparison, many homeowners were left trying to determine which contractor they trusted most — often before they fully understood what they were actually buying.
Jeremy also saw what could happen after the sale. A homeowner could feel confident when signing a contract, only to later encounter design changes, unclear expectations, unexpected costs, or differences between what they imagined and what was ultimately built.
He became convinced there had to be a better way.
In 2022, while working as a sales consultant for a pool contractor, Jeremy rediscovered drone technology as a powerful tool for gathering accurate site data and improving the design process. At the same time, he deepened his expertise in advanced 3D visualization, allowing homeowners to experience their projects in far greater detail before construction began.
Jeremy earned his FAA Part 107 certification and refined his skills in photogrammetry, combining drone-based site mapping with highly detailed 3D environmental modeling.
The technology improved his workflow and dramatically changed the customer experience. Homeowners could see their property, understand the proposed design, explore options, and make decisions before construction began. That clarity also helped Jeremy become one of the company’s most successful sales professionals.
But the bigger lesson was not about sales.
It was about the process.
Jeremy realized homeowners should not have to choose a builder first and then hope that contractor develops the right design. They should be able to develop the vision first, understand exactly what they want, and then select the right professional to build it.
That belief became the foundation of PROTERRA OUTDOOR DESIGN.
PROTERRA was created to give homeowners an independent, design-first approach to outdoor construction. By combining accurate site mapping, advanced 3D design, construction-aware planning, and a clearly defined project scope, homeowners can visualize their project before committing to construction and give multiple builders the opportunity to price the same plan.
The goal is simple:
Design first. Compare intelligently. Build with confidence.

Outside of work, Jeremy’s life is grounded in faith, family, and community. He is an active member of Echo Life Church in Pensacola, Florida, where he serves as a vocalist on the worship team. His involvement in worship and men’s ministry is an important part of his faith journey, personal growth, and connection to the community.
Jeremy and his wife, Brynn, are raising his stepson, Dillon, who shares their love of adventure and learning. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors—walking around town with their three-legged Bernese Mountain Dog, Sir Fitzgerald Nosenbottom (“Fitz”), roller skating, hiking, biking, exploring the Gulf Coast, and cheering on the Pensacola Ice Flyers.
A lifelong mover, Jeremy was once a professional partner dancer and owned and operated two ballroom dance studios, where he taught a variety of styles, including his personal favorite, West Coast Swing. Earlier in life, he also trained extensively in martial arts under highly respected instructors in Los Angeles and taught Kenpo. Today, he continues to enjoy dance, fitness, and roller skating as ways to stay active and connected to the things he has always loved.
At his core, Jeremy believes nothing comes before God and family. His faith shapes the way he leads, works, serves, and loves—guiding his decisions with purpose, humility, gratitude, and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the people around him.

Jeremy’s mission is simple: remove the pain, cost, and frustration from outdoor home improvement projects. His passion for swimming pool design sits at the center of that mission. Having worked alongside numerous pool builders, home builders and landscape professionals, Jeremy has helped bring countless outdoor living visions to life—expanding each homeowner’s living space beyond the walls of the home and into the outdoors across the beautiful Florida and Alabama coasts.
Through that experience, he has seen firsthand how unclear planning, shifting scopes, and misaligned expectations can derail even the most exciting projects. That’s why he is committed to creating a better path forward.
For homeowners, that means clarity before commitment—reducing surprises, protecting budgets, and restoring confidence in the process, while transforming their backyard into a seamless extension of their home.
For reputable builders, it means something equally important: well-prepared, design-ready projects and informed clients who are serious, aligned, and ready to move forward with a trusted professional.
Jeremy believes great projects happen when planning is intentional, expectations are aligned, and both homeowners and builders feel confident from day one. His work exists to bridge that gap—bringing clarity to homeowners, opportunity to builders, and elevating the standard of outdoor living design from the very beginning.
