Curved Pool & Spa Courtyard Concept

This Mobile, Alabama outdoor living concept introduces a softer, more fluid approach to a compact backyard layout. The curvilinear pool shape contrasts with the home’s structured architecture, creating a natural flow that guides movement through the space while maximizing usable water area.

An integrated spa anchors the design, spilling gently into the pool and adding both visual connection and relaxing functionality. The shallow tanning ledge features in-water loungers and bubbler elements, offering a casual, resort-inspired experience that brings activity to the pool’s edge without overwhelming the footprint.

Oversized coping frames the pool with a clean, substantial edge, doubling as informal seating and enhancing the overall sense of craftsmanship. Artificial turf surrounds the deck areas, introducing a vibrant, low-maintenance green surface that softens transitions and maintains a polished appearance year-round.

A covered patio extends the living space outdoors, providing shaded seating that overlooks the pool and lawn. Paired with perimeter plantings for privacy, the design balances openness and enclosure—creating a comfortable, adaptable setting suited for both quiet afternoons and social gatherings in Mobile’s warm climate.
