Simple Design. Resort Feel.

This project showcases how a thoughtfully designed freeform pool can completely transform the backyard of a standard DR Horton Express home. The goal was simple—create a space that feels elevated and relaxing without overcomplicating the layout.

The design features a natural-shaped pool with a tanning ledge and in-water loungers, offering a comfortable place to relax while staying connected to the rest of the space. A raised wall with integrated seating adds both function and visual interest, while a dedicated fire pit area creates a second gathering zone for evenings outdoors.

Clean decking, subtle landscaping, and an open layout keep the design approachable and easy to maintain, while still delivering a high-end look. This concept proves that even production homes can have a custom, resort-style backyard when the design is done right.
