Gulf Shores, AL – New Construction Outdoor Living Design

This project was designed alongside a newly constructed home in Gulf Shores, creating a seamless transition from indoor living to a fully realized outdoor retreat.

The backyard was thoughtfully planned to function as both a private escape and an entertainment space. A freeform pool and elevated spa serve as the centerpiece, complemented by a tanning ledge, integrated water features, and fire elements that bring movement and ambiance to the space day and night.

The layout extends beyond the pool to include a dedicated fire pit gathering area, covered outdoor kitchen, and multiple seating zones—each positioned to maximize flow, comfort, and usability. Tropical landscaping and strategic lighting were incorporated to enhance the setting while maintaining a clean, cohesive aesthetic that matches the architecture of the home.

Designed before construction was complete, this project demonstrates how a well-planned master design allows homeowners to bring their entire outdoor vision to life from day one—eliminating guesswork and ensuring every element works together as a unified space.
